Alee & Dusty | Surprise Proposal | San Diego, CA

Alee walked past Dusty at a Pho restaurant in Fresno, CA. As she walked by, she smiled at him and he couldn't help but to smile back. 

A couple of weeks later, Dusty went back to school in Azusa but found Alee on myspace. Though three and a half hours apart, they found that they have many things in common and started to communicate on a daily basis. 

In the summer of 2009, Dusty asked Alee to be his girlfriend, and she said YES. Four years later, he took her to the location of their very first trip together, Ocean Beach in San Diego, and asked her to be his wife, and she said YES. The rest, as they say it, was history. Congratulations to Alee and Dusty!

Alee said their relationship was unexpected, however, the timing was perfect for them. Their long distance relationship was difficult but they made it work and supported each other throughout school for four years. They are proof that long distance can work, as long as you love one another.
